The Conference of Presidents of French Universities (CPU) and the PAUSE programme call on the Iranian government to suspend the death sentence of the Iranian-Swedish emergency doctor Dr. Ahmadreza Djalali, and to release him, considering that the conditions in which his trial was held, which is in name only, were particularly unfair. We call for an immediate international mobilization in support of our colleague for justice to be rendered.

On Thursday March 2, 2017, the Collège de France played host to Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve and the Secretary of State for Higher Education and Research, Thierry Mandon. An agreement between the Collège de France and the Fondation de France was signed to enable the PAUSE programme to receive donations.
